Objective
User struggles to find the right hairstylist who matches their preferences and availability. It’s time-consuming and frustrating to search through multiple platforms such as Instagram, Tiktok and various websites. How can it become easier for the user to discover nearby hairstylists with the services the user needs, along with their availability, all in one place?
Solution
Aggregation: This app would consolidate information from various sources, offering a one-stop shop for hairstylist discovery. Matching Preferences: Personalizes the search by allowing users to filter based on specific service needs (e.g, wig install, braids, natural treatment) and desired stylist attributes (e.g, experience, expertise with curly hair etc.). The app also allows users to scan hairstyles in real time and suggests hairstylists that have done similar styles. Real-time Availability: Users often struggle to find up-to-date appointment availability online. The App’s integration with stylists’ calendars would eliminate the back-and-forth communication and allow for real-time booking.
